Question Details:

My son paid $75.00 towards a course for a bogus security guard position that didn't exist. Can I get my money back?My husband and I work really hard for what we have and it's hard for us to accept such a loss when this company is scamming people with promises of a position if they take certain security guard courses. You can report them to the state Attorney General's office if  you believe they lied, misrepresented, committed fraud, etc. That may help see justice done, but won't necessarily get you your money back. Unfortunately, there are very few mechansisms to recover money lost to a scam other than bringing a lawsuit, which often costs more than the scam itself did.
