I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. You son may have a warrant out for his arrest and may be facing serious chargtes as a result of his failure to appear in court. I would looking into finding out if a case is pending as he can be arrested on a simple police traffic stop and be sent to jail to await a court appearance on both charges. Hire a lawyer ot look into this asap.
