If my landlord is having apartments in my building fumigated but hasn't informed me of any pest problem, are they required to tell me?

Under the laws of all states in this country assuming there is toxic chemicals used to fumigate a unit, the people doing the fumigation are required to give all occupants written notice of what is happening with associated warnings as to what chemicals are being used.
