I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. The short answer is no you cannot get out. the landlord should be informing you why he failed to tell you he was entering your place. however, landlords generally have the right to enter to fix things and show the property to others. I suggest that you are polite and ask the landlord to call you in advance if he intends to go in while you are not home as you do not want to get on his bad side or burn a bridge.
