Can my insurance premium be raised because my sister and my daughter were ticketed and/or involved in an accident?
Question Details: However, neither my daughter or my sister were driving my car or are under my insurance. In fact, I did not have anything to do with any of those charges. Is this legal?
Insurance premiums are raised for any reason or no reason. The fact that your sister and daughter were ticketed or were in an accident when they were not under your insurance and were not driving your car should not be a reason to raise your insurance premium.
