What to do if my husband was court ordered to pay half of our son's medical expenses within 30 days and he is over due a week?

Failing to comply with a court order does give rise to a possible contempt action.  You will need to follow up and let the court know about your husband's violation of the court order.  If you don't inform the court then the judge will not know and your husband may not be disciplined.
