I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  Your husband may have your name on the title to the property by having his quit claim 1/2 of his interest to you.  this can be simply done by asking a lawyer to draft a quit claim deed and your husband will sign it and the lawyer will record it on the land records.  The cost should not be more than $500.00 and can be done within a weeks time.  Furthermore, you will not have to pay taxes on the transfer of the property becasue your husband is transferring property to you.
