Are there any steps I need to take if I want to move out of state with my children?
Question Details: My husband moved our family out of state 2 years ago. Over this time he has not had steady employment to support his family. Most recently he has walked out on me and the kids. We have to move out at the end of january as our lease ends. I have no support or family here. I am working part-time and have become the sole provider for myself and the children. He will not answer me as to where the kids and I will live after we move out. I plan to move back with my family. I am dealing with an uncooperative spouse.
Given the unfortunate situation that you are writing about that you and your children are in, I suggest that since there is no child support or custody order in place that you simply begin plans for the move you desire where you will get the support from your family when you relocate.
