What to do if my HOA requires brick columns for fences but at least 9 homes in my subdivision do not have them?
Question Details: The HOA has denied my fence because I didn't want to do the columns. They say they are going to "try: to get the others to comply but don't think they will get a response. What recourse do I have about my fence?
I suggest that you consult with an attorney that has experience in planned unit developments and make demand that the HOA enforce the brick columns for the fences in your community and if not by a certain date you will go ahead and build a fence similar to the other non-conforming fences in your community.
