Question: Wrongful Death - Accidental Death - Georgia

My grandfather died atfer he was hit by a vehicle.My grandmother was able to sue the city of Florida,is ther any way the grandkids could sue also?
My Grand Father was hit by A vehicle he died,i think that i should be able to also sue the city of Florida..Do you think i have a case?

Any grandchildren over age 18 may be able to petition the court to be included in the lawsuit as plaintiffs provided that the case is still in litigation.  If the case has already been settled, it is too late to include the grandchildren.  If the case has been settled, your grandmother would have signed a release of liability which would prevent Florida from being sued again in the same matter.
