My girlfriend, doesn't allow me to take our son to my parent's house (when she's mad at me). Does she have the legal right?

If you are the legal parent, then the mother of your children does not have the legal right to prohibit this.  Absent a court order to the contrary, you can take your children to your parents, or out-of-state for that matter.  Again, this assumes that there is not valid and enforceable court order pertaining to this issue.
