What to do if a beneficiary's last name has changed?
Question Details: My friend's husband is terminal. He left everything to her in his Living Trust but it was prepared before they were married and before she changed her name legally. Her new name now includes his last name. Is the Trust still valid since her name is now different? Does he need to change the trust to reflect her current legal name or is it suffice for her to show proof that she has since changed her name legally?
