My friend is illegal and was just in an auto accident that was not her fault. She has insurance but no license. First of all, will her insurance pay, and secondly, will she be deported or fined?

Unless there is a clause in the insurance agreement that would allow the insurer to void the agreement, the insurance should pay. If there is such a clause, and the insurer does not pay your friend would be entitled to a refund for premiums paid. There is a possibility your friend could be effected by immigration laws if the governmental authorities investigate your friend's status.
