My ex-husband has court ordered custoday of my 17 year old daughter but she ran away, what to do about a guardianship?
Question Details: He's now a resident of another state. Our daughter ran away last week out of state and is now living with her grandmother. She's been enrolled in school there. Did my ex-husband have to give his mother guardianship for my daughter to be enrolled in school in a different state then him?
If there is a guardianship established for your minor daughter and you did not sign it, then your "ex" seemingly did unless there was a court hearing where the paternal grandmother was designated by the court as your daughter's guardian. Based upon what you have written, you should immediately consult with a family law attorney for assistance.
