My ex-wife illegally obtained my credit information from my bank about me and is publicly disclosing it.

My ex-wife called my mortgage institution using my SS# as a pass to gain information and gained privileged, private information and she has been disclosing the information publicly. Where can I read about laws in Arizona that will give me basis for compensation for damages.

Well, there are plenty of laws about options.  You have laws in Arizona dealing with theft, from basic theft to identity theft.  You also have a civil course of action, meaning you can certainly sue her.  Aside from using your identity illegally, what has she doing with the information.  Did she take any money? Did she pull a line of credit for herself?

You can also contact your state's dept of banking to file a complaint against the mortgage company if it disclosed such information without your permission.  To determine this, was she on the loan itself, as well? If so, then she is entitled to view the loan information.  If not, the mortgage company should not have been allowed to speak with her without a power of attorney from you.
