Insurance Law Law Answers

It's not a matter of who purchased the policy--it's a matter of who was responsible for the injury. Your dog was in her control when it was injured. It was injured in the course of her employment or business. Under these circumstances, she should be the one to pay. Of course, if you otherwise intend to keep using her, you may wish to settle and pay some of the deductible.
