If my car was flooded in my work parking lot after a storm, is the owner of the lot responsible for the damages?

It depends upon the owner's liability insurance policy.  Some policies do not cover "acts of god", which could include flooding following a storm.  It is best to contact the owner of the parking lot and attempt to make a claim for the damages.  However, you will likely have to use our own auto insurance to compensate you for this.
