my car was damaged in a parking lot while i was at work, caught on camera but no plate do i still have to pay my deductible ive heard i dont
Question Details: i heard if your car is damaged and im not even in it, then the insurance company can waive the deductible, is this true, because mine told me i was responsible for it and would only be reimbursed if the person was caught.

Each insurance company has its own policy on that, I'm afraid. If you can convince them by showing them the tape from the camera, they might change their minds. Probably not, though, if there is no way to find the at-fault party. Sorry.
