My boyfriend was involved in a hit and run with an unattended vehicle. What is the best step to take?
Question Details: He has a clean driving record and we are in California. He hit an unattended vehicle in a parking lot and left the scene out of panic. The unattended vehicle received an indent and there was very minor damage to his truck. He also just received a letter from the police station requesting he come in for questioning. We don't have much money and are afraid that this incident will **** our finances dry. What is the best step to take? Should he play dumb or plead guilty?
