What to do if my bankruptcy was discharged nearly a year ago but one of my ex-creditors is reporting a discharged debt as a bad debt every month?
Question Details: I tried contacting the collection agency but they say they are within their legal rights. This doesn't seem right to me.

If that ex-creditor's debt was indeed discharged by your bankruptcy, that ex-creditor needs to update its records with the credit reporting agencies to reflect this discharge.
