My attorney died before my trail, can I get my money back or at least part of it

Also. the State Bar gets involved in these matters.  Certainly if he or she is a member of a firm call his office first.  If he is a sole practitioner you might call the Bar first.  Their home page is:

This will depend on your attorneys situation. if he was part of a firm the remaining attorneys should either refund the money or handle the case. if he was a sole practitioner you can obviously make a request for reimbursement from his estate. Depending on the specifics it may or may not be both a good idea and one that results in a refund. I urge you to consult a local attorney who may be able to assist you in this delicate matter.
