Bankruptcy Law Answers

If your husband is the sole name on the debt than whether or not your married they cannot make you a party to the action for recovery. however you will be faced with potential problems with regard to joint accounts or assets held together such as a home. Although your assets cannot be sought after you will need to keep very good records in order to protect yourself if there becomes any issue with showing a clear chain of ownership. Good luck and let us know if you need further assistance
