The credit card company would have to sue you, first, and that would start with papers getting served on you.  If they win the lawsuit, they would get a judgment, and that judgment would be a lien on your property.

If the real estate is in a different state than where the lawsuit is brought, the judgment is only good in the state where it was issued.  But the courts in the property's state, on a simple lawsuit, would "domesticate" the foreign judgment by issuing a new one that could be used there.
