Just found out about will......

Question Details: I just found out I was in my grandfathers will to receive 15k. Problem is, he passed away in 1985. I learned a relative took all money and possesions. I was never notified about this. Do I have any legal grounds to recover anything?

No you cannot.  Any legal action will be barred by something known as the "Statute of Limitations".  This is the time period in which an action must be filed.  If it is filed after that time, then it is not timely and the case will be dismissed.  Typically, the time to file for a civil suit would be no more than 3-5 years.
