Is the dog breeder responsible for the medical bills of a sick dog she sold me?
Question Details: I purchased a puppy from a dog breeder in Massachusetts. The dog came to me with mites which I noticed right away. I had a vet inspect the puppy as well. It cost me $338 in medical bills to get the puppy well. Is the dog breeder responsible for the medical costs. No one seems to be able to tell me the answer. The dog cost me $1800. I paid the breeder $1500 already and I have held back $300 towards the vet bills.

It depends on when you bought the dog. Mites are not that unusual. It also depends on the warranty, if any.
