Is the county responsible to pay for vehicle damage due an improperly maintained road?
Question Details:
My motorcycle was damaged because a county road had a 3 inch deep crater running the entire width of the road from construction; 1 of their 6 inch orange flags was knocked over in the ditch. The county's insurer denied my claim. Does the county have responsibility to repair my bike?

Yes the county has a responsibility to maintain the road reasonably free of debris and potholes. Did you ask why they denied your claim? You may need to find an attorney to help you. You would also have to prove the county was negligent in maintaining the road.
