I am a lawyer in CA and practice in this area of the law.  I have a few more questions about the circumstances of this accident, initially, who owns the vehicle?  Please email me at actionlaw@yahoo.com

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  As a passenger in the car, your son is going to be able to make a claim against the at fault driver.  the at fault driver is responsible for paying medical bills as it was hir fault for the accident.  I suggest that you hire a lawyer to represent your son.  Usually, lawyers will represent your son on a contingency fee - i.e. you only pay your lawyer if he collects money.  Plus, most lawyers will give you a free consultation.  I suggest hiring a lawyer and making sure your son continues to see a doctor.
