Question Details:
We sold our home and we have no other assets in our former state of residence. Is it necessary or advisable to update or rewrite our Wills?

It depends. Most times if the will is valid in one state then it is valid in another. But check your state law to make sure whether you need to attach a self-proving affidavit.
