Is it legal for a family member in law enforcement to serve a search warrant on a member of their family?

Any law enforcement officer can serve or execute a search warrant so long as they have jurisdiction to do so and the warrant was authorized by a Judge or Magistrate of that jurisdiction. That person being a family member has no bearing on their ability to serve a search warrant as an officer of the law.
