is it illegal to sell cash value insurance as an investment?
Question Details: I heard that in the 90's a senate subcommitee made it illegal for agents to sell cash value policies to people as an investment vehicle. Is this true, and where can I get any literature on this?

You might want to check with the Federal Trade Commission and the Pennsylvania Insurance Commission. Also you could read up on the Met Life lawsuit that centered around this issue and talking people into surrendering their policies and buy new policies. Good Luck.
