Is it illegal for me to have naked pictures of my 16 year old girlfriend?

In ME the age of sexual consent is 16. I know I'm allowed to have sex with her. But does having pictures of her naked constitute as child pornography? What might the consequences be for her for giving me them? And what are the consequences for me keeping them for personal use? Also, she secretly had a boyfriend. And I showed a picture of her to the boyfriend as proof that she's seeing me sexually (since he didn't believe me). The picture was of her naked showing her butt. It does not show any other part of her body. What kind of trouble can I get in for this?
How old are you??!! You failed to state that here. But really that may only matter for some of the trouble you can get in here and to what degree you will be charged for the activity involved. And I think that you can be charged on many different levels here. Regardless of the age of consent she is a MINOR. She is under the age of 18 years old and by showing him the photos you can possibly be charged as well with "distributing" the photos - which is a catch all term here that is loosely construed by judges in some parts of the country. I think that the best thing for you to do is to destroy the photos you have and stop taking any more. Also, I would reconsider your relationship depending on your age.
