Insurance Cancellation
Question Details: Can a health insurance company provided by my employer cancel my coverage for non payment by my employer without notifying me (the employee) first? Is the Insurance Company required to notify me before cancellation at all?

This is a question that is based on a number of factors, most likely including your contractual agreement with the insurance company and your employer's contract. Try contacting and inquiring with the California Dept of Insurance because if indeed they cannot do so and must provide you notice, you may have an administrative claim.
