Is there a rule that specifies the length of time a trustee has to complete the disbursement of the trust after the grantor has died?

Generally the terms of the trust will control the time when a trust must be distributed, except no sooner than statutory time for notice to be given to all beneficiaries of the trust who may have claims, notice to creditors be given, and all federal and estate tax clearances have been obtained and any other government liens have been satisfied.
