In CA, who would be the person/s at fault?

Question Details: If car A rear ends a stopped car B, which causes car B to the rear end a stopped car C, who is at fault?

Car A. However, you have to be careful;  there are times when the driver of A will allege that car B struck car C before car A hit car B.

The answer to this could depend upon some factors and facts that you have not mentioned.   Generally Car A would be responsible for all of the consequences of that driver's negligence.
