Question Details: I was renting a condo that went into foreclosure. A judgement was ordered on 10/8/09 for me to vacate the property. I never received notice, and when I went to the condo to to move my things, the locks were changed and a lock box was put on the front door. According to the Sherrifs Dpt. nothing came through the office for an eviction. I believe the broker did not follow the legal steps for an eviction. I just want my things. I tried contacting the realtor/broker to arrange to get my things and he said I was harassing him. I dnt know who has been in the condo and what if anything has been remo
You need to immediately contact the California Dept of Financial Institutions, and the California Attorney General. You may also wish to contact the California Dept of Real Estate.
