If a wife forges her husband's signature to gain a credit card, is he responsible for the debts that she incurs?

In Illinois, it is a serious crime to forge the signature of another in order to obtain a credit card.  The Husband should call the police immediately and report the forgery.  Then the husband would need to contact the Credit Card Company to report the fraud/forgery and attach the police report to suspend the account and to determine what charges were made on the account.     For more information on Forgery, visit my website at: http://davidleelegal.com/ David Lee
