If you're delinquent on your credit card, can you get arrested at airport security check point?

Question Details: I've been hearing that if you owe any institution money, you can get arrested at the airport when you return from your trip. I know someone that got arrested at the airport when he return from an out of country trip. They arrested him at the airport in Dallas, Texas. He owed a casino about $2,000. I'm leaving town soon to go on my honeymoon, and I currently have credit card debt. I would like to know if the credit card company can arrest me when I return from my honeymoon.

No, you can't be arrested simply over a debt--ever. If the person you knew was arrested, there was something else going on as well...maybe he cheated, maybe he defrauded the casino, maybe he'd committed a crime unrelated to the debt and didn't want to admit to it (so he blamed it on the debt), or just possibly, if he ignored  a court order to pay the casino, he may have been in contempt of court for not obeying it. In any event, there was something else going on  besides just owing money.
