Although I do not practice law in the State of Tennessee, here are my initial impressions. If you are on supervised probation, then your probation officer is probably in control of that decision. I suggest that you first consult with your attorney who handled the underying case, or, if you did not have an attorney, you should speak to a local attorney. Otherwise, you should ask your probation officer for permission PRIOR to moving, and then get that permission, if granted, in writing. The last thing you want to do is trigger a violation of probation and end up moving to jail, rather than another county.
