If you are fired from a position in a retail business for petty theft, grand theft, larceny do you forfeit your rights to unemployment benefits?

I doubt it.  I'm not a California attorney, and the law of unemployment benefits can differ from one state to another, but this is a firing for good cause.  In every state I've checked, that makes you ineligible for unemployment.
