If there is shared legal custody/visitation, can my ex keep me from seeing my child because she does not like my significant other?

My ex has full physical custody and I have shared legal custody and visitation. She does not like my new significant other and refuses me visits if my significant other is home or in the area. Can she do this?

The short answer is NO. She can not deny you visitation because she does not like your significant other. Now if there are other issues re your significant other (alcohol, drugs, criminal record, etc.) that might complicate the issue.
