If you know where the account is being held, you can take your birth certificate to the institution and tell them to give you the funds.  If that doesn't work (or if you don't know where the account is held or you don't know the account number), then you will need to petition the probate court in the county where the trustee/guardian resides to "compel" him to release the funds.   The information you obtain at this site is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. You should consult an attorney for individual advice regarding your own situation.
