if my grandmother had and insurance policy 17 years ago and it was not claimed and I am the beneficiary can I still claim it
Question Details: 17 years ago my grandmother passed and I never claimed it beacause m brothers girlfriend said that my grandmother missed a payment and it canceled but recently I was told that it eas not true, but I have no way of finding the policy, but if I do can i claim it.

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. If you are able to find the policy you r should be able to make a claim for the policy if you are the beneficiary. I suggest that you first locate the policy and then submit the claim to determine whether the benefits still exist.
