If I signed a commercial lease but the property is zoned residential, which set of rules apply (commercial or residential) in a dispute ?

Question Details: The agent and landlord told me the property was OK for commercial use. II signed a commercial lease and now I found out it is zoned residential. We are having a dispute on security deposit. Which rules do I apply - the commercial or residential rules on security deposit ?

This is a very serious matter.   The Landlord completely misrepresented this property.  You could argue that this invalidates the entire lease agreement.   You have a number of remedies available, but you need an attorney to assist.
