If I advise a used car company of major problems with a vehicle I bought less than 24 hours ago from them. what laws do I have that protect me?
Question Details: I have a 50/50 warrantee but this is something I believe was hidden about the car and now I have to pay for half of it. It never functioned as it should have.
Under the laws of all states in this country the seller of any item is required to disclose all known defects to a potential buyer that affects desirability or price paid. If you can prove that the seller knew of the problem with the car that you have and did not disclose such to you before the sale, the seller is responsible for all of the repair costs regardless of the warranty.
