If a marriage took place in the US between a US citizen and a foreigner, where would the divorce have to take place?

I am a licensed divorce attorney in Maryland.  The divorce can take place where one of the parties has lived for one full year prior to the filing of the complaint.  If you are a resident of Maryland, you can file the divorce against your foreign spouse.  You will have to get the legal documents to the foreign spouse or request that the court grant you alternate service if you can't locate the foreign spouse.  Shaun Curry Trye, Esq. 410-685-0940.
