I worked in Minnesota for the last 4 months xboss refuses to pay me for any time,sent cert.demand letter 10 days ago now what? still no money.
Employer is Contract for deed/purchase agreement. (he never filed) holder on my home told me he was applying wages towards mortgage and now is starting foreclosure proceedings on my home stating I never payed in 6 months. I have his signature on time sheets saying I payed up till April 09. Yesterday I appeared in court for a eviction notice he tried to file and case was dismissed,due to the purchase agreement I showed the judge.I sent letter demanding wages I have hours recorded in same book with his signature on previous wages earned.My family will be homeless if he don't pay the 3000 he owes

AttorneyPages has verified that this person is an attorney.

If you no longer work for him and he does not pay the statutes provide that he owes you one days wage for every day up to 14 days that he does not pay, plus attorney fees and costs.  Would probably be best to go into small claims court.  This does depend on whether he applied the money to the mortgage/contract for deed, in which case it may be satisfied.
