Can my boss record us with video and audio?

My boss is recording audio and video. I work at the local mall on Long Island. Is it legal to record audio along with the video?

You have no expectation of privacy at work.  you should always assume that your boss is recording phone calls and discussions among the people at the office.  The only places that the audio and video are prohibited are the bathroom.  other than this area, the employer is permitted to over see and record any inside the office dealing with work.  you have no say as to whether or not the employer ma record such things as phone calls and work station monitoring devices.  If you do not like the idea of being monitored, then you should find a new place to work.
