If I work at a gas station and our store is scheduled to close at the end of the month, can they deny me unemployment?

Question Details: The company who owns the gas station I work at was just bought out. Our store will be closed. My manager talked to the HR manager and she told him that if there is a store opening in a store that is over 10 miles from my house, that I will be denied for unemployment. She said she will make sure if we turn down the position that we will not get unemployment. This goes for everyone in the store. Can they deny me unemployment?
