Wrongful Death - Accidental Death Law Answers

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  I am not sure why the landlord believes that he can obtain rent when you were living rent free.  I suggest hiring a lawyer to talk to the landlord or his lawyer to try to work out this dispute as there does not seem to be a basis for you to be paying rent unless you were living rent free as long as you were employed.  If that is the case, you will need to pay rent for the months beginning from the date you were terminated.
