Employment and Labor Law Answers

If you do not have an employment contract which protects your job (for example, by limiting the grounds for which you can be fired), you may be firied for any reason, at any time, for any reason, so an employer could terminate you for dating a co-worker. Moreover, the law does not require employers to treat their employees fairly or consistently, so your employer could elect to terminate you, but not other people doing the same thing.
